C.H. Robinson (CHRW) opened its doors in 1905. Today, as one of North America's largest third party logistics companies, we provide transportation, sourcing and information services throughout the world.

Our 2000 gross revenues were just under $2.9 billion. Although the company went public in 1997, our employees continue to own a significant portion of the company. The company has no long-term debt.

CHRW is a non-asset-based company. We invest in bright, dedicated people. In early 2001, we had approximately 3,700 employees to serve our customers. New employees, hired for their high creativity, flexibility, and customer service skills, receive training on the job and during internal workshops. Our employees work in 138 offices worldwide, and have the expertise and technology to move products from origin to destination, anywhere in the world, door to door.

Last year, more than 14,000 customers entrusted us with more than 2.3 million shipments worldwide. Every day, CHRW develops and executes solutions to shipping challenges. Our service begins with multimodal transportation, extends to global logistics management of supply chains, and covers every point in between. We are experts in many industries and through our extensive carrier network we have the flexibility to meet nearly any logistics need.
